bbc news this morning saying a chelsea fan was arrested for tragedy chanting about hillsborough.intresting to see if hes charged

Its interesting how other clubs can act quickly and identify these people, this weekend Chelsea and Burnley acted quickly which is good. Why cant dipperpool act just as quick ?

Clearly lacks midfielders. 4 attackers with Szoboszlai and Mac Allister anchoring the midfield is no solution. Think Liverpool will improve if they can get a holding midfielder in, but feels their lack of depth in midfield will still remain.

Come on, Klopp is the only one who's been able to push Pep close in recent years. Let's be honest if it wasn't for our record-breaking form and some wonder goals and performances (Kompany v Leicester, Gundogan v Villa etc) he'd have his hands on a few more league titles. I am sure if you asked Pep if Klopp is a good manager he'd say he was - who else in England have had more than 90 points and lost the title?

He's also ripped us a new one in the CL.

I do think we should give him credit for turning Liverpool into title contenders. I honestly think Klopp is the only one who pushes Pep as well.

I made a pretty specific point in my post and your reply didn't address it.

I certainly think Klopp is a very good manager but several levels away from Pep, who people argue is his equal.

Would have been worried if Caicedo chose Liverpool, but now I don't think they'll be able to pose a threat. After a shaky start yesterday, Chelsea were the better team. Liverpool don't have the strength, depth or routine in midfield to challenge this year. Also, they'll be playing Thursdays in Europe. Happy that both Lavia and Caicedo chose Chelsea, they're further from us than Liverpool.

I think he WAS a top manager, he seems to be on the decline to me, hopefully I'm right.

I liked the bloke before he came here, and even for a season or two after he arrived.

I think he's always been a bellend to be honest. When he was managing in Germany we only tended to see the good bits of him over here but plenty of German football fans couldn't stand him. Going to Liverpool was the perfect move to enhance his bellend traits.

No doubt that he has been a very good manager though. Not on Pep's level but I wouldn't have minded him if we weren't able to get Pep when we did. I also think he has been beneficial for our club in some ways as the competition he's provided over the years has pushed our team to higher levels.

I went to Dortmund v Koln on a Friday night early in 2020 (Haaland's home debut for Dortmund. I was outside a pub really close to the ground and chatting to a Koln supporting mate and my lad when a group of Dortmund fans became intrigued by my Englishness and started chatting. They asked me what I thought of Klopp as a City fan and seemed genuinely shocked when I replied that he was "An attention seeking dickhead." Obviousl they hold him in very high regard.
