People can slate me all they want...

But we don't overturn this game... Being 1-0 down, with 10 men for most of the game like Liverpool did.

The way we play is very systematic. Our players have to stick to playing in certain zones of the pitch.

Liverpool are a bit more off the cuff than we are... They take more risks.

It's an absolutely fabulous result for Liverpool. Huge character has been shown tonight for them. Still our biggest threat.

what a pile of shit.

Thought we built a reputation as comeback kings early last season

When have I said this group of players don't have the mental strength and resolve?

You are just making things up now, Gordon.

We have proved time and time again we can come back in games and we have shown time and time again when our backs are against the wall we step up to the occasion.

I have never once criticised our mental resolve or resilience as a team.

I think you are clearly misunderstanding the point I'm making here. As I've said... The reason I don't think we come back from 10 men down is down to the system itself... Not the players.

We are such a well oiled machine and we have such a good structure that if we were 1-0 down, we would just keep our shape and remain disciplined whereas Liverpool would leave the back door wide open hoping for a counter attack. They either get beat 3 or 4-0 today or win 2-1.

I've said in my previous comments liverpool are more off the cuff. They are nowhere near as disciplined as us so they are more prone to throwing the kitchen sink at it because they are a bit more chaotic than we are from a tactical point of view.

More often than not, we don't find ourselves in this position whereas Liverpool will find themselves having to claw back in games to get a victory because they are nowhere near as solid as a unit as we are. I'd much rather be us every single day of the week.

You watch when we played Fulham at home when it was 1-1 and we had 10 men. The whole team was so well structured and in position to stop a counter attack, we barely give them an opportunity in that game with 10 men. If that's Liverpool v Fulham with 10 men that Sam's say, they concede far more opportunities than we do because it becomes more of a basketball match.

Liverpool today left themselves completely exposed at the back because they play a different way. Luckily for them they nicked two goals on the counter. City aren't a counter attacking team, we like to have control at all times. We just play a different way to them and I think the way they play they are more prone to either getting battered or winning this way. It's a flip of a coin.

People get so defensive on here and think I'm slagging off the mentality and the resolve of the team. Far from it.

The first line of your ridiculous statement was “people can slate me all they want” which looks like you knew you were talking shit. No one’s defensive they are just telling you straight.

I think you make a good point, but unfortunately you are wrong

You won’t be lasting long come back in may
When we’re champions again now go and play the victims
I’ve been on here for 5 years mate. I never go on RAWK. I don’t even have an account.
Always happy to take a few verbals but if I’m honest, you are wasting your time if your aim is to upset me or wind me up.

I’m interested to know is there actually anywhere nice in Liverpool and its close-by regions? For example, any top class dining destinations that don’t look like 1980’s Indian restaurants next door to a betting shop?

Any quieter areas you can walk at night without meeting hooded goons with knives or sniffing something in a bag?

Any cafes you could have a three-tier afternoon tea that isn’t a steamed-up old shop packed with swearing grannies and 15-year old mums?

Strangely, I’m not trying to wind you up, just that the above is my impression of Liverpool as a city and the Merseyside region in general. Am I wrong?
