Got involved in a discussion with this prick who came back with this nonsense below, with my reply after it.

One of those seasons City conceded a goal v Wolves when the Wolves player fell to the ground, ball hit his hand and went in. A 1-1 draw. Cost us 2 points.
In the seasons Liverpool lost the League by 1 point..... last minute penalties for Liverpool v Leicester and Spurs when Salah dived and very dodgy penalties awarded. There's 4 points extra...... you can't just highlight one game and say City won the league because of that. You have to look at incidents for both teams throughout the entire season.
The reason City won the title over Arsenal last season is simply because we beat then hone and away.

I've just posted that on the previous page. It is ridiculous tbh as all clubs have decisions go against them. But its the tribalism of the fans who will challenge every decision even if it's a blatant One. Every clubs forum adamant their the one being persecuted.

I saw that post too and that was the thing that I laughed at. Typical biased bollocks written by some foreign teenager. Wouldn't waste my time responding, we're not going to go back and revisit these things.

Not that it’s much of a change, they’ll continue to get away with murder at Klanfield, however the shitstorm they’ve created could play against them away from home, particularly against the bigger clubs. They’ll expect everything, get frustrated when they don’t and lose it. Also suspect some of the refs might take a dim view of how they’ve been made to look (rightly or wrongly) throughout. Maybe it’s just wishful thinking…

I'd forgotten about the Sheffield United goal, very well said.

Sheff U were pushing for Europe at the time but ended up missing out. How much impact did this have on their following drop in form and relegation the season after.

Again repeating myself over this one. Maybe we can have the game replayed when Jota kicked Skipps head, gives him concussion, has to be subbed, VAR says it's fine and Jota gets a last kick winner.

My husband is a Liverpool fan and thinks it will have the opposite effect. He thinks they'll be more determined than ever to just get a result and keep their heads. He doesn't want a replay or anything, he says what's done is done, he just gets fed up of this kind of thing happening. He's lost interest in it now though. He says he just wants them to finish top four cos no one's gonna stop us anyway. He's right about that.
