Defensively they are vulnerable, Van Dijk has regressed and is not the same player he was since his injury. If they continue to play Arnold at right back they are asking for trouble as he can't defend to save his life. However, the additions of MacAllister and Szoboszlai will obviously strengthen them and I can see them scoring plenty of goals, but they will also concede a few with their current squad.
Still looks a bit light on numbers, but he will play those two in every game and they will be done by the end of the season. He's ditched a few of his cup players too.

Their 3-3 at Palace in 2014 is on Sky Prem Classics now for anyone who wants to Bert as hard as me tonight.

This video still makes me laugh:

I left the pub at 3-0, had an early morning and couldn't be arsed watching what seemed a procession, had rang herself just before I left. As soon as I walked in the door all she'd say to me was "check the score, just check the score".

These will be our toughest opponents this season

Would annoy me if Lavia joins them, feel like he's got the world at his feet and will be a star one day
Lavia will never be a star, he’s too lazy and their two signings come with caveats, Mac Alistair has his limitations and the other fella played in the Bundesliga which is shite, we twatted Leipzig 7-0 with him in their team and not many noticed him. I’m aware Gvardiol played in that team ad well.

Don’t think I realised just how late they actually left it. Palace only made it 3-1 in the 79th minute.
Think we would still have won the league on goal difference if the Dippers had won that game, bit like the misnomer that Dennis Laws’s back heel sent the Rags down.

I disagree, think Lavia has it all. He excelled in a brilliant youth team and has been great in a shit Southampton

No guarantees in football but the lad has the tools to make it, maybe not the best in the world but don't see many teenagers doing what he's doing

Mac Allister has his limitations but who doesn't, he a big upgrade on them and he's a very good player. Curtis Jones or Mac Allsiter, who'd you rather have

The RB guy I don't really know, he's the biggest question mark as bundesliga tax is real imo but as you said were about to psnet £80mil plus on a CB who conceded 7 goals against us....so are we the fools?
