Liverpool are playing really well unfortunately and they also know how to put a run together aswell so anyone who thinks they will fall away will be disappointed and it we will have to match them gane for gane and tbh this season I don’t think we can put a big run together as our defence is shocking . Also just having. 2 main strikers with one being out for nearly 2 months is not great either . If it’s their year then so be it as we can’t win it every year .
Looking very much like their season. Smashing a side who is in great form 4 : 0 away, without Salad..that's some marker. They have a very committed side this year and look really on it. I agree with you, a run from us will be hard this year as we havent looked likely at any stage. As for beating them at their place. Very tough. For ne as long as we give 100% thats all we can ask for.

They're definitely back on it this year and as well as Arsenal can be on their day, I see Liverpool being our biggest threat. If we're going to go on a run, now is as good a time as any with 5 of our next 7 league games being at home before our trip to Anfield. That includes our game in hand so by the time we face them we'll both have played the same number of games. With that run of home games coming up, I'll be disappointed if we're not top by the time that match comes around. They've got 3 at home and 3 away in that same period, including that trip to Arsenal, although I'd expect them to win all the others.

Thing is though Bournemouth are not relegation fodder. Up unitil today they were the second in form team in the division. The scousers just find a way to steam roll teams to victory, Whereas we just pass the opposition to death.
Oh, give over!

This "form" that people talk about doesn't take into account the level of opposition they've played during their little purple patch. It's more to do with the fixture calendar than anything else.

After we spanked their arses they've played and beaten Fulham, Forest, Palace, Sheff United and the rags. Hardly a tough set of fixtures is it.

Admittedly they got good results against Newcastle and Villa, but still, my point stands IMO.

Their "form" ended over a month ago (due to the fixtures getting harder) and they're settling back into their lower-mid-table level, just above the relegation fodder of the newly promoted teams.
