Can't wait for the video on Ladbible - 'i escaped a cult after a decade of brainwashing'.
Could give them extra fire to make his final season special, but as we all know adding extra emotion to the mix with Liverpool can go wrong too and I hope we're actually in for another 'we don't let this slip' moment.
Doubtless we'll have to sit through months of vomit inducing praise, which completely ignores his anger issues, threats to ball boys, any money he spent at all, the comparatively small trophy haul given he had the best player in the world in almost ever position apparently, or the fact he openly encouraged fans to go to Paris even without a ticket.
Expect the manager of the year award to head his way too now, even of they finish 3rd and trophyless.
I can also see this being a trick and he announces he's staying after all. Call me Mr Tin Foil Hat, but when anything comes out of Liverpool, I think we have a right to be slightly suspicious. Hang on, has anyone seen my tin foil hat?

That trophy haul would have been discernibly higher if it wasn’t for the brilliance of Pep. That’s my point.They were a top top team no doubt about that but the way they as in their supporters and media go on you’d think their trophy haul under Klopp is huge. Is it 5 trophies in 9 years that’s not good enough for such a good team. If you can’t or just get pipped to win the big ones as in league and champions league. You need to be picking up more of the smaller ones. So yes they were a great team football wise but achievement wise they never lived up to their talent on the pitch

The pressure on these cunts in the months ahead will be immense. The pressure of doing it for Jurgen.
They are likely to implode at some point. The one PL title they won (at a canter) was lifted in the most pitiful of settings. That will rankle. And add further pressure.
They’ve never won one with someone breathing down their neck as the finish line approaches.

There're is something troubling about this announcement.
Why now?
Why not wait until the end of the season and announce it then?
So many managers have gone that way "time to try new things" "time to take a break and recharge" "time to step back and give more time to my family"
There are so many ways to go about it.
Now his club is in danger of losing its equilibrium, and the media spotlight will be on him constantly.
Looks to me like his ego wants to be massaged to the highest level imaginable. Milk his exit stage left like pisscan did.
