Liverpool Thread - 2023/24

Well, for the second night running I couldn't sleep. It's all too much. At 3am I decided the only thing to do was get up, get the guitar out and put my feelings into a song. This is what I wrote. (The first bits good it's the last part I'm struggling with)

Why does the sun go on shining
Why does the sea run to the shore
Don't they know its the end of the world
It ended when you said goodbye

Before you came I was a loner
Now I hear you're fucking off to Barcelona

Now I know it was just a shit looking front...



But I can't think of appropriate words to rhyme with looking front
