Liverpool Thread - 2023/24

I find this love for the greatest every dipper manager his record isnt anywhere near as good as Bob Paisley a true gentleman.
It’s puzzling but the dippers seem to have forgotten about their other managers.
The club , fans and media have erased Heysel from history so deleting previous managers is no big challenge for them .

I’m already nauseous at how much 5Live will be jamming it up before the Liverpool game. Commentators mics cut, so they can listen to “You’ll Never Walk Alone”.

Lumps in the throats of the commentators. Cut to the studio and they’re all in awe of the “magnificent atmosphere”, that is “like nowhere else” “special”.

I hope they lose

If you think about it their last period of domination stopped when Dalgleish stepped down. They’ve had managers who achieved the odd cup here and there in Houlier and Benitez winning the champions league. That’s a good 30 year period of failure considering they’ve had more money than most clubs in the Premier League on tv money and monopolised the Champions league spaces until City came along and pushed them down the pecking order.

No dipper under the aged of 40 will have a recollection of Liverpool being all conquering which is why they won’t have memories of Shankley and Paisley being successful. The first time they thought they were in with a sniff of getting back to those days with Klopp they encountered a winning machine in City and Guardiola. It must be killing then and why Klopp can’t hack it there anymore.

So would the rest of the world.
That place really is a cesspit. They genuinely believe the shite they post. If someone posts utter shite on here someone will call them out, or reply with heavy sarcasm. No one has pulled a tone up about the over sentimentality. One poster said they'd give football up - if that was posted here they'd get slaughtered by GIFs and posts asking for their tickets, and they'd be told to dry their knickers and get on with it.
