F’ing Liverpool. For years they have dreamed of getting ahead of the rags and over the last 3 years the door has been opened. All they need to do is walk through it. What do they do - curl up in a ball and cry. The club has no backbone to it and it annoys me as I personally want them to finish above yonited every year. Pathetic season from them already.

Always makes me laugh when I hear dippers/Bodgers saying that Liverpool is still one of the world's biggest teams based completely on being quite good more than 2 decades ago. Not one single Prem title to their name and they're still one of the biggest teams in the world?

That's like saying Sinclair is still right up there with Apple.

Its not the players it's the manager.
Go through some of their players, they actually have players that you would expect to be performing.
Moreno, Sakho, Lovren looked class at Saints and was a very good youngster at Lyon, midfield they have Can, Coutinho and Henderson, Sturridge and Benteke up front.
Firminio looked at a very good level with TSG last season to. Add a bit of steal and experience to that, like United did signing PigFucker and then you have to really be look8ng at a team that can challenge top 4. The team doesnt need much work at all.

Just they have a manager that hasnt got a clue what hes doing and hes more like a car salesman by convincing everyone he is the answer.

The funniest thing is though, that because Rodgers is shit, and the team is playing shit under him, most of the Red Scouse think most of the team is shit, which hysterically, isnt

I agree he should be doing better with the players he has, but I still expect a big name manager will look at that squad and want to replace at least half of it if they expect to make top 4. Sturridge's injury record discounts him from being a reliable striker, so even with him in the squad, they need a replacement for when the inevitable injury crops up.
Moreno, Sakho and Lovren are nothing special, even if they've appeared to do well elsewhere. The league's full of players who looked good somewhere else. Henderson and Coutinho are decent, but is Countinho likely to stay? I doubt it. Milner's in decline too, so a new manager will probably only expect a couple of seasons out of him at a top level.

I reckon any top flight manager would keep Henderson, Coutinho, Milner and Benteke. It's not really setting the world alight to a manager like (say) Ancelotti is it?
Decent set of players, yes. A very good one? no. Any top flight manager will expect a very good set.
