What is quite odd is why they insist Loserpool have the right to get back to the top .... whatever that is nowadays..... I mean why not do the same thing for Burnley, Blackpool, Fulham or Huddersfield Town or any club that has had its moment in the sun in the past? We had a flourish late 60's early 70's and now when we have come back we are reviled for it which is even stranger as being a comeback kid seems to be what the hanker after.

Am being a bit cheeky here as I know that only applies to certain clubs that fit the demographic

Bloody hell, Talksport Drive playing The Beatles in the background to explore Liverpool's way back to the top. I'm surprised they haven't got Jimmy Tarbuck and Stan Boardman on. Liverpool is the centre of football, music and comedy after all. History! Sad stuff.
There's been a lorra lorra coverage lately.

wonder if Jimmy is still thinking his move to Klanfield was a great career decision, at least his £6m signing on fee is a comfort , or maybe he signed for loserpool because they are a massive club (in asia) , must congratulate Bodgers , turning them into the new Newcastle , big crowds but not a f*cking chance of any silverware

Sadly the vast majority of their listeners are going to be 16-60 and that's essentially an enormous number of United and Liverpool fans (including those inside the media). The entire 'world view' (from their perspective) is that those two clubs BELONG at the very top of the tree. To make matters worse, their trophy hauls are so far ahead of the rest, it's going to be used as a yardstick for how big a club is, and where they 'deserve' to be. Until a few other clubs catch them up (which won't be easy) we just have to grin and bear it.

The only other hope is that something drastic happens to one of them i.e. relegation and decades in the doldrums.
