I like to think FSG have told him he's got a job for life.

I wondered how he managed to retain his job last time when all his back room staff were 'released'.
Possibly he is the type that has others as sacrifices if things go wrong so is preparing Mr McAllister for his P45 by showing the same brand of loyalty ?

Eventually the owners will realise he is part of the problem rather than the solution but I wonder how much stomach they have got for this misfiring cash cow they appear to have no idea how to fix ?

If they could turn the clock back a few years I have no doubt FSG wouldn't go near Liverpool. They've monumentally misjudged the task at had. They thought with a bit of spit and polish they could turn Liverpool into a cash generating machine which would sit atop English football. What they've got is a fallen giant, floundering in an ever more expensive sport, and have no desire to fund it sufficiently. Sooner, rather than later, they'll start shopping round for a buyer. This investment hasn't brought the expected returns.

They probably had word with glazers and they told them to go for it its a great cash cow the premier league

Colin Murray and Danny Murphy both agreeing that "Brendan needs more time" on talkshite just now... unfuckingbelievable.

Spotted this stat in the post match inquest/postmortem/bloodletting on RAWK. Since March 4th (when they beat Burnley 2-0), the murkysiders have played 21 competitive games; they've scored 2 goals twice, one goal 14 times and no goals 5 times. That's 18 goals in 21 games. In those games, they've played a League 2 side, a Championship side, 2 relegated sides and a club playing their first ever away game in the top flight. Jesus. No wonder they're always laying wreaths, the slow death of Liverpool Football Club.
