A few things:
- Playing Laporte at left-back was madness. Although he did reasonably well he offered little support to Silva and Sane.Which, has been one of our strengths this season. We solved a problem for Liverpool picking him
- Gundogen - well, without wanting to make him a scapegoat or repeating what has been posted, I will say my piece - he doesn't like it up him. He doesn't have the strength stamina or mobility to run back. Hides from our own players in possession and generally offers very little. He's good at home to the likes of Bournemouth but not away from home at the top level
- How the fuck do we concede a break away goal 10 minutes into a 2 legged tie? you see those type of goals get conceded at the death, not at the start
- I felt for Sane. Although his decision making and delivery of decisions was poor at times, he didn't have a break. We constantly gave him the ball. We needed someone on the right to take the burden off him
- Finally. We could still be playing now and not score. Toothless
