Liverpool v City 1st leg CL Qtr Final post match

That was right up there with the Wigan Cup Final- turd performance & result.
Gundogan and Laporte were wrong decisions by Pep

And the embarrassment continues. We have been outstanding this season. Yes we were poor, yes we were hammered but some of the over reaction on here is a joke. I’m not going to start turning on a team who has given me so much pleasure this season. #loyalty!!

You can't actually overreact to that. It was an absolute embarrassment to the shirt.

That doesn't mean we can't be happy with the rest of the season.

But that tonight was a bunch of turds, who let us down. Pep will be giving them more shit than we ever could.

Our defence still needs work.

Only buying one left-back has come back to bite us. Deciding not to get a Mahrez/Sanchez has come back to bite us.

Walker, Gundogan and Sané were embarrassing today.

I think that statement completely overlooks the fact that defensive players gave away the ball for each of pools 3 goals.

Well if nothing else this shows we are nowhere need the levels of Bayern, Real & Barca.
Klopp had Pep in his pocket from the off and even in the 2nd half we were clueless and toothless. Gondogan ???wtf, the hapless Walker where to start..
On that showing I would not rate any of our Team more than 1/10.

I didn't understand why we started Gundogan, but even so why were we overwhelmed again in the 1st half? They just gave it everything and we did not have enough to beat them.

Gutted. This defeat has soured the season. I doubt these players will get a chance like that again.

Liverpool were superb. Give them credit.

I think Guardiola bottled it a bit by dropping Sterling and putting Gundogan in. If he was planning on countering Liverpool's midfield, then should have used Delph.

They wouldn't be getting any credit from me. They weren't superb, the officiating was questionable and Pep was naive once again
