Except for KDB every single one of our players played with chicken feathers sticking out of his arse. Disgraceful performance. Cowards. Except for Salad not one of their players would get in our team but they absolutely battered us yet again. A massive first half of chase, harass & attack followed by a second half of superb strategic defence plan. They well deserved it. And Pep yet again failed in his arrogance to address a game plan we all knew would be thrown at us. Truly truly shocking. Need 4 or 5 or more at home as there’s no way we’ll stop them from scoring. Not one shot on target tonight, wtf? Yet again in the first half when they were yet again slaughtering us, where was the calming influence? I looked around at Komps, at Pep, at Merlin but there was nothing. Just rabbits stuck in the headlights. For as good as we can be, that was embarrassing.

Lots of criticism for Leroy on here. Sorry thats just wrong. He was one of only one or two players that put in a shift. He was man marked by at least two and we kept giving him the ball in tight areas. Blame our play makers but not the boy or Gabby who had zero opportunity. Just a very poor performance - gift them 3 goals and then all they needed to do in the second half was defend deep. Shape was abject in the first half. Gundogan performance was just so passive and ineffectual. We win together we lose together.
