Liverpool v City 1st leg CL Qtr Final post match

love Jesus as a player but anybody who thinks he's a 20 a season striker are mad and yes he wasn't given any help tonight but even before this game he never was.good hold up player but never a aguero or salah threat.but as I say think he's a good player.he and all the team need to fucking channel tonight and smash the Rags Saturday and move on.

Idiotic to lay the blame firmly at Gundogan's feet, they were all shite tonight. Casual defending by all defenders, big players bottling again in Silva, KDB and Fern, and two young lads who aren't near ready to take responsibility in these types of games in Jesus and Sane.
Manager got it very very wrong tonight.
That was an embarrassment and i don't say that lightly. The seminal fixture of the season.
Agree with most of what you say but Gundogan really does worry me. In a game as important, he was just so passive. I watched him very carefully in the first half. He doesn't make himself available for the pass. His pressing is the poorest in the team. his energy levels seem low. I have seen Yaya work harder defensively than he did in the first half.

Maybe a Liverpool player will be sent off in the first half at ours and we end up beating them 6-1.

I think I can safely predict that the Stretford shite are going to get a good tonking this weekend and then we will stuff the scouse shite 5-1 in the second leg.

fuck me that was disappointing after such a good season, I dont think all is bad though

Here's how I think it will pan out.

We beat Utd to win the prem
We lose in the next game against Liverpool, they go through (I still think we have a chance though)
They play whoever in the next round and are knocked out (End season winning fuck all)
We then lift Premier trophy at end of the season having broken more records
Liverpool end the season with the "We beat City trophy"

The only fly in that ointment would be Liverpool winning the CL, they really dont deserve it, easy group, we collapsed against them, lack consistency. Other than that we're the winners this year

He might want to look at himself as well. I thought this tie would be difficult, but I really did not expect City to be done again in exactly the same way we were done in the League. That smacks a bit of arrogance from everyone.

We can all say he could have played Sterling or whatever (then said the opposite if Sterling shat himself & had to go off) but all of the goals were down to individuals pkaying like absolute fucking tossers, & more than one at a time

No chance would we be top of the league if that was our usual standard.

Basically tonight was the same level of performance by the players as v Wigan in the FA Cup, but we were playing Liverpool at Anfield.
