Liverpool v City - post match thread

Let's face it , we were lucky to win on Sunday (fluke goal and won on penalties) , tonight just confirmed our slide .

Lost against the Scousers again !! Really need to smash Villa and beat the Rags in a few weeks now !!

England's number 1 means nothing mate.
The competition - Fraser Foster and Jack Butland!, and at the moment I'd put Foster ahead of Joe despite his error against Chelsea.
 
We don't seem to have the ability to control games anymore, is it because of yaya s decline?. We used to dominate possession and pass teams off the park (even if it was sideways), and pick them off. Sunday's game reminded me of a Macini side, in control and confident particularly at the back and yaya played well. Tonight the team lacked motivation which is very puzzling considering Sunday's performance?? Anyway it was great to see Wenger storm off after being interviewed, it's mad season you just never know?? Could be worse look at Chelsea.

Bang on. I said the same to my pals on Sunday, we looked like a Mancini side so solid. Today was back to a typical Pellegrini team, absolutely clueless and a defence wider than a prossys vagina! I think we controlled games due to a couple of reasons. First being that players like Yaya and Silva were younger and better and the other reason being that teams often sat back against us. Nowadays they know if you press us like madmen we'll gladly give up possession time and time again.
 
i'm not surprised, same old crap performance in the league. slow, predictable. We have no form and teams around us have. We will drop down the league. No Chumps League for us next season. The cup at least gives us Europa League next season, only way we will get it with the continuous shambles.

Liverpool have been crap this season and we struggled in 3 games this season against them. That should be sending out danger warnings to the club hierarchy if nothing else is.

Yaya , although he played pretty well on Sunday is obviously past it and we need to replace him . The days when he used to dominate every game are long gone .
 
That was just terrible.
Didn't start well, played better for a time then the 1st goal came. No idea what happened feel bad for Joe. Defending got worse, errors everywhere, not sure anyone can be proud of their performance. Attacking was so bad especially by our standards. Nothing seemed to come off at all.
Can't really use tiredness as an excuse. Maybe some kind of hangover or less motivation than them. Subs were quite extreme and don't believe they helped.
Definitely one to forget, at least other results were kind. Title looks unlikely but you never know with us.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if these bottlers miss out on a CL place. Talk about rubbish! Seen some sh*te in my time, but that took some beating. Useless cnuts from 1 - 11. Should be ashamed. Won't be though. Wankers.
