I agree I don't see any relevance playing him in this game. He can easily be rested tonight it's just going to rile them up. I don't think he has the mental strength to be able to cope with it. Or maybe it could just work the other way but I doubt it.
Sterling has shown great mental strength since he signed and has gained the respect of our fans and that of the manager. The so called Liverpool fans who boo him are bitter, deluded hypocrites. We gave Milner, Mica and other ex players a warm welcome back.
I would love nothing more than to see Raheem get the winner tonight and the twisted dippers to choke on their bile.

You would hope that any player of his calibre would be able to use the hate in a positive way. I hope he does and I hope he celebrates like fuck if he scores.
 
This match feels absolutely pivotal now. I just feel like we are getting some momentum for the first time since early September. Win tonight and it could genuinely be game on again for a title challenge, lose and it's going to just be a horrible scrap for top 3 or 4 for the rest of the season. I never much fancy our chances there though so going more in hope than expectation.
