A draw would make there result pointless we must win at Anfield tomoz and put more distance between us. Spurs slowly catching up 2 for Ade again :(

We should win tomorrow to take advanatge, not just rest on our laurels, not worried about spuds had an easy run in my opinion and it's good that ade is scoring so we can sell him for a nice fee and recoup a lot of what we paid for him.

This THE sort of moment when Champions are created. The scum didnt win, we MUST now reinforce our credentials and show we will not fold later in the Season.........................still worried about our defence though.

I think this will be far from the formality some on here suggest. Our record at Anfield is dire, they didn't have to play midweek, and their confidence will be high after beating Chelsea at the weekend.

Obviously we're more than capable of beating them, but I'm not overly confident. I wouldn't be too disappointed with a point.

Mate, we need to forget previous records as they count for nowt . What were our results like at WHL and OT before this season?

Really it's not about them but us. If we play to our full potential then we will win. Might sound arrogant but we have the best team/squad in the League.

You're right it's not a formality by any means and the manager and players wont treat it as one. But I do hope that they approach the game with more confidence than a lot on here!

I think Uniteds dropped points will give the lads that extra little push. Win tomorrow and they can start really putting some distance between themselves and the rest. Liverpool 1 City 3 for me.

Only worry is Bellamy he'll start today Liverpool will throw everything at us first 20 minutes got to keep it tight

Watched Liverpool @ Chelsea last week and although they won they were 2nd best IMO Chelsea just couldn't put the ball in the net. I'm nervous as fuck just hope the draw for the scum yesterday and Mancini's Birthday give the players a boost to win. If we can beat the Scum and Scum 2 5-1 @ 6-1 away I don't see why we can't beat an OVERATED Liverpool team.

I'm looking forward to this today.

I'm nervous but we all know we are capable of getting something here.

I've been to Anfield loads of times and never seen City win so hopefully today we'll break our duck!

I we play like we did in the CL with no urgency and with too many passes being given away (Yaya Edin) we will really be up against it. I thought that Edin looked slow and not aware enough of what was going on around him.
While I don't want us to go defensive we need to be aware of Liverpool's speed of attack as they shown in the first half against Chelsea.
If we play like we did in the last 1/4 of the CL game then we should be alright. But please Bobby if you are going to make changes do not bring the guys on with 5 mins to go, give them a fighting chance to get into the game.

Arsenal and Utd both struggled after midweek games in Europe, and they were at home.

This is going to be a very physically demanding game as Dalglish knows we played in midweek and will be keen to capitalise. A draw would be a good result. They'll use the same tactics we saw at Stamford Bridge. Close down our defenders and midfield and prevent us from passing the ball out from the back.
