Reading on Twitter, Fiorentina would rather sell to us as they don't want him going to Milan.

Apparently we don't want him.

Maybe the fact that we have the money whereas Milan are always pleading poverty has something to do with Fiorentina's logic.

by tripling his wages?
k.

What has that got to do with how much you offer Fiorentina? They couldn't care less what contract you are prepared to offer Ljajic. This is about how much you are prepared to pay the club, Milan have a reputation for trying to get a player for peanuts or on loan with a weak "promise" of a fee at the end.

You are easily the worse club in Europe to do business with. You make Napoli and De Laurentiis look generous.

I don't understand why we would not want him, the lad looks very promising.

Youtube I know, but him and Jovetic looked very good playing together at times.

We don't need him. He may be a very good player but it is already going to be hard keeping everyone happy as it is. Nasri looks like he could flourish under Pellegrini. I previously would have been keen to offload him, but he has impressed me in pre season. We need to strengthen the defense, we are sorted in attack imo

I still think we need to upgrade on Sinclair though mate, if we can get a replacement for him we will be sorted in attack.

Defence definitely needs looking at, we need need a back up center half and a left back upgrade on Kolarov if we can.

I would even go as far as saying if we can get a younger and better replacement for Barry then we should look into it.

What we've offered him has PLENTY to do with it. But if you dont see the link, then we won't go there.

We've put in an official bid of 8m for him, as he only has 1 yr left on his contract. OFFICAL BID.

So, I wont disagree that we are notorious bargainers and we have the master of it, in Galliani.

but 8m, for a guy w one year left, who has his agent dealing with Milan directly, and only one strong season, is not a "shit offer".

Gabriel Narcotics was on TalkSport at about 9pm talking about Ljajic. I didn't catch it all, but he implied we were keen until he sprung some surprise about who his agent was, and this ended up in dispute with at least two agents claiming to work on his behalf. At which point we stepped away.

Seems he likes operating wide to the left, but can also do well on the right. Wouldn't be bad business for the price, but there's an issue of playing time if we don't sell anyone.

Fiorentina are negotiating with one agent.
While Milan are negotiating with the player, his father and another agent.

I sure hope the kid knows which one is his agent.

This all stems from Ljajic and his agent being unable to speak italian when he arrived at FIO, so they had another agent (the one speaking FIO right now) come and do translation etc

That man seems to think he's the agent, meanwhile, Ljajic and his father dont haha

So ya. It's messy

A pity then that your club didn't take this same admirable stance when Tevez was being sought by Galliani.
