Lokeren Away 2003

I didn’t go! My son is 21 on Friday !!!
That’s why !!!
and loves reminding me of why I didn’t go!!!
He can pay for my beer in Lisbon !!!
 
Some scouser was trying to push into the front of the beer queue in the ground and he was getting dogs abuse

He claimed he was Joey Bartons brother. Not sure if he was bullshitting but if he was he could have been the one that went down for murder a couple of years later

Joeys dad and brother did go to all games, at the time my uncle never had loyalty points but went all the away games topping up somebody else's pot but never got big games and got talking to Joeys dad at Newcastle, for next couple of seasons he got additional tickets for Rags & Dippers away and sold them to my uncle at FV , he seemed a decent bloke don't think the son was the one who went down
 
Hands down the worst hangover I have ever had was at that game. Got giddy the previous night drinking Belgium beers in Ghent and then hit the top shelf. School boy error
