Looking down on 'glory hunters' is arrogance

City worldwide fan base will look dumb at FB page etc. for at least 10 years more until generation of kids who'll grow up "supporting" City comes to scene.

For example, Bosnians you're lot are talking about are people who are rags, liverpool, arsenal, chelsea etc. supporters and most of them don't give a shit about City. It's same with lot of other nationalities, like khm Italians :) and most of other part are fans from areas where football is 5th sport and they look dumbish while talking about football no matter what team they support as they don't know shit about it.

In 10-15 years there will be more sense as those guys will genuinely like City. If some of you oldtimers would still moan about it then you're as dumb as some of those from FB page.

or they were at York Away...

Was you at York away, Steve?

Which one, Home or Away? :P

I remember the home game vaguely, Didn't go to Bootham.

I think the clue was in the question 'Did you go to York away?'

Why would you have an 'ironic sneer' when someone says they went to York away and you didn't?
Very strange.

I'm not on Facebook , don't know jack shit about it!
Not interested!

Follow City cos its City.

Not cos someone on facebook tells you too!

Anyone who supports City is fine in my book. I do wonder though why we see many more people wearing City shirts in town than we used to? I've always worn mine as I'm proud of my club whatever, not just when we're champions?

I'd be surprised if more than half of our 47,000 are wearing shirts on a match day so who cares. I go every home and about 1/3 of away games and have had no interest in wearing replica shirts since 15 (unless playing footy myself). When going to Town i prefer wearing other clothing tbh. Im just an example. (number of shirts is f all)

where you going to get away tickets from...your new comrade mate?

thought it was possible to buy tickets online - am i wrong?

If you have a Blue Membership at least you buy them here: http://tickets.mcfc.co.uk (logging in with your email or supporter number and password)

And can choose your seat there.

I Do not wear jerseys, they are for football players.
I've no reason to go to York unless it's to see the grand old duke.
I woke up one morning and decided to support city nobody made me,
I did not have to support them because my family forced me or felt I was obliged too because Manchester is my town and I will go into battle for my local community over the evil empire over there.
I just love football more than any other hobbie,
It's just a game.
Welcome to Manchester city football club.
All are welcome.
