They never brought that many? It looked like friends and family from where I was sat!We brought under 7k and TNS around 3k, it is in the programme.
I was there and it was more as we filled the corner by the floodlight. A proper crew as they said in those days. Tried to break through the toilets into their stand on the side of the pitch. In the late 80’s o think it was we were at Millwall away, we won 1-0 with a Tony Adcock looping header. Doubt there were 750 of us there
Went to bothBoro away in the league cup got beat 2 1 think I was the only one there ( if you where there you would get it ), when back on the Saturday in the fa cup again got beat 2 1 , the joys
All lads though. Remember it well although not that well obviously as the date on my username was a year out! It was Dec 87 when my memory told me Jan 88! I thought it was a shot too not a header ! I must have been hammered. Was certainly eventful. In the late 80’s o think it was we were at Millwall away, we won 1-0 with a Tony Adcock looping header. Doubt there were 750 of us there
Away at Lancaster Citys Giant Axe ground for a friendly back in the day.So what away games have you been at with a low away following watching city ?
To be fair if you would have done well to see it if you were sober from that corner terrace! All lads though. @Chappie was thereChelsea in September 88 when away fans were banned. Not sure how many were there because keeping a low profile was the wise move .... which proved a challenge as we won 3-1.
True! Remember being kept in a while. Trouble at London Bridge station too on way back. I lived in London at the time just down the road so it was an easy away for me. I went to watch Millwall quite a few times when I lived there and City weren’t playing and Palace. To be fair if you would have done well to see it if you were sober from that corner terrace!
We all ran at them at London Bridge. I just ran because everyone else did. Never saw a Millwall supporter after the match. The main family coordinated our day.True! Remember being kept in a while.
