1-1 Goater?
Yep! Typical Goater bobbled effort right at the death. I drove there that day and was wondering why there was a cold breeze blasting over my head. Only when we pulled up at petrol station that I realised someone had tried jemmying open the door the night before. Company car so didn’t give a fuck.

I was at that that one. Don't remember much about the game (other than Shuker scoring) or how many we had there, but definitely remembered the weird atmosphere. Strangest I've ever experienced at a football match. It was nowhere near the lowest but it was pretty sparse at Notts County on the same night as the twin towers. I guess a lot who’d planned on going just didn’t fancy it after what they’d been watching on TV.
Ha ha ha.used to pull top of door out....easy
someone told me
50 at most. No special. Just a small end in the corner with a butty bar in the middle. We won 1-0. Checked our head to heads with Millwall and we only won there 1-0 in the 80's once, so I must be correct with the date. Hired a car and 4 of us went. Asked a copper where to park when we were right at the front of Millwall's ground, it looked shady loads of Millwall around, the copper said causally just park hear you'll be alright, like fuck we did. We drove around for a while and came across the away car park right behind our away section. Went in watched the match with the other 50 City who had bothered to turn up and drove home without any hassle. I went to Birmingham away in the mid 70's and that was also a bad turnout. Went with Fieldsends coaches from Salford precinct as I was still at school. Had to go in the seats opposite their end. Apart from them 2 games it was decent away turnouts.Utter garbage went down on the special, which was full, at least 2000 there that day.
There was definitely a Special for Millwall Away in 87-88 because I was on it. Adcock scored the winner at the far end with a sliced chip/cross that drifted over the stranded keeper.50 at most. Nah. I was on Potters coach and there about 50 on there for starters.50 at most. No special. Just a small end in the corner with a butty bar in the middle. We won 1-0.
