I'll give you a couple of empirical facts. Neither Bellingham or Rice currently play for Manchester City.
For balance I'll give you a personal opinion... It would make perfect sense to ME if City did a deal for Paqueta at £35m plus Philips with WHU, & another deal for Caicedo at £70m plus Palmer with Brighton. Two players in. Two players out. £105m total spend.
There you go. It's a personal opinion on an internet forum. Now if others can't see City being interested in Caicedo, that's their valid personal opinions too.
Now if you believe the latter personal opinions to be empirical fact, please present your evidence. If not, I'll accept the latter is a personal opinion which you share too.
Hopefully that's that settled. )(
Not the creativity-box which seems to be a big one.City would b mad not to be in for Caceido, we were in for Bellingham and Rice so we are looking at a CM.
With Rodri saying about his workload etc.
At 21 it just ticks all the boxes.
Its the culminating effect of having players that are not a big goal threat. Mahrez had his limitations but he had a very decent amount of goal contributions. Gundogan the same. Both now gone. Haaland on a relative goal drought and we are in trouble potentially. Kovacic/paqueta/Silva/Grealish all technically great but none a huge goal threat. Its a big risk for me. Lets hope im wrong!!True.
Bernardo is a 1 in 6 scorer for us.
Grealish helped us win a treble and have poor statistical goal output.
if Pep wants him, he’ll probably smash it for us.
Agreed. The only time we'll know what's happening for certain is when Pep announces a player is here having his medical, or the club announces on the OS the player has signed & here's his video. There seems to be a huge oversight in this new world of Twitter ITKs.
Nobody has suggested that Paqueta is a smokescreen and that we’re really signing Ryan Cresswell.
Game’s gone.
Everything on here is just an opinion until it actually plays out. Everyone knows this or at least they should. So what's the point of grilling H94? He doesn't need to provide you or anyone else proof of anything. You know this. In all honesty I'm surprised he hasn't told you to fuck off, no disrespect. And that's your proof?
If they said they reckoned Bigfoot might be real, you'd stake your life on it too?
Mate, they both expressed opinions, which you've re-spun as proof, which it isn't.
Now please show me your concrete proof to backup your claim, or I'll happily accept your claim is just your personal opinion, & not the empirical fact you're making it out to be.
Thats international not for his club… his club number (even including the penalties he has taken) are poor…1 in 4 is about 9/ 10 league goals a season , how many did Gundogan get last season ? Goals have never been a problem for us under Pep and aren’t now either. We’ll score plenty.
Lets hope you’re right and im wrongHe had 21 goals in two season for Lyon. Gundogan didn't score regularly until the last few years. I expect Paqueta and Kovacic will both improve on their g/a in our squad under Pep.
I don’t think you should be sharing what Tolmie says as a fact though. He is just an ITK that shares information he gets, and that information is for your eyes only and not to be spread around as actual fact.Tolmie's opinion is more likely to be closer to the empirical fact since he is more informed than the rest of us here (on transfers). Therefore, we have opinions, but his is more of an educated guess (on transfers). Can we agree on that? Nothing is a "fact" because this isn't an academic study where one needs to provide empirical evidence etc. Everything is possible in that sense, but I am yet to see anything indicating we are in for Caicedo. There is a (small) chance we are in for Caicedo, though. I give you that. I just think it's less than 1%. I don't have any references/bibliography to back any of this up ;).
