If santi j fm said we went in with a bid of 24 m you would all say hes talking bullshit thats a ludicrously low bid why would we bother so why when he says we have put in a ludicrously high bid is everyone inclined to immediately believe him?

He will not be prepared if Haaland for some reason ever dropped his standard and playing poor. Haaland will be dropped by Pep no matter how much goals he make last season, there's no guarantee starting player in Pep team and just like you said all of them is squad player competing to be a regular.

Dumb question, is this guy any good? Watched West Ham probabaly no more than 5 times last year and he didnt stand out at all so geniuenly curios. If we pulled out of the Rice deal for that money but are willing to pay close to that for Paqueta, why not just go for Paqueta originally? This one is strange to me but the string pullers are generally on the money
