Honestly, im not sad about missing out on paqueta or Doku. I never really felt they were the right signings. They gave me the end of an era “mistake signings” type of vibes.

Clubs just don't need to sell their best players anymore and if they do they will just put a ridiculous valuation on them that we won't be prepared to pay. It just seems to be stalemate with every player we're looking at buying, and there will come a time where we might just have to pay that bit more
