Midfield options at present: Rodri, Phillips, Kovacic, Bernardo, Foden, Grealish, Palmer, Mcatee, Bobb. Enough there?

I don't think so.

We have Rodri for defensive mid. We have Kovacic as an eight. We have Bernardo and Phil who can cover as eights.

The others aren't really worth mentioning because Grealish isn't a midfielder, McAtee and Bobb haven't played a single league game and Palmer could be on his way and we don't even know what his level will be this season.

So, again, when we're talking about City quality midfielders, we have two. Then we have one guy who can play anywhere and another who Pep prefers to play in the forward line.
