That's all very well if a club is a regular PL side, but say Luton have to spend millions upgrading and then end up being relegated it could put them into financial difficultyIf the clubs get so much money for playing in the Premier League then they can surely afford to build a new stadium or build new stands.
It’s because in the 80s their fans were racist thugs, their Chairman was a Thatcher lickspittle, and they relegated us with a Manager who used hookers. Obviously these days they are a friendly family club. But some of us have long memories.Really don't understand all the vitriol with Luton. Non-League to Premier in 10 years has to be admired. The fact they did it with sub 10,000 crowds is even more to their credit.
