Lyon CL QF Post-Match Thread

I don't know if this is emotional thinking but I seriously don't want pep in this club anymore

Flat track bullies sums us up. For me we are in a whole load of shite and I think Guardiola is so dominant that he's stifling to the players own thought processes. There comes a time for all managers when a change is needed and I'm beginning to feel this has ran its course.
Much as I hate to say this, I actually agree.

Peps overthinking has cost us yet again, its almost as if he has some kind of complex where he has to make it about his 'tactical masterclass'. When in reality, you play the side that has got us them big wins, the team that knows how to play to a system they know. It's fucking shit having the same conversation everytime we go out. I don't want to be a knobhead of a poster who's questioning him, I really dont, I love the man for what he's done for my club.

I used to think his position as manager of our club was unquestionable, now it can't be, it's not good enough. I can't even question the players tonight, the system was shit. 3 defensive minded midfielders against the 7th best team in France? Fuck off, I'm fucking fuming, luckily I've still got 10 coronas left.

We don't have a divine right to win all the time, I get that. I'd have had no qualms going out tonight had we played our best side, and give it a go. We've gone out with a whimper, blame VAR, blame UEFA, blame who you want, I'll blame Pep before anyone else and hopefully he'll take a long hard look at himself tonight and know he personally wasn't good enough.

We were never going to win it but we find a different way to fuck it up every season.
Time to find out what Gundogan has on Pep as well.
Awaits the Gundogan fan boys replying.
Why is there no trust in Foden to play.
Fernandinho for Foden was a disgrace.

Pep's team selection, Sterling's miss, Edersons drop and Laporte giving ball away before Var surprise surprise, miss the foul on him.
A crap night , but not a surprise after pep again tinkers with a team that looked full of confidence against Madrid.

A poor season by our standards, hopefully lessons are learnt and we come back stronger next season.
Think I'll log off till then, it's not the end of the world, but it sure feels like it.

David Silva deserves more than that. He deserves a champions league winners medal. Pep doesn’t back himself and doesn’t back his players to outplay opposition in Europe.
If he cannot back himself or his players then where do we go from here?

Pep will never win the champions league because he doesn’t dare to. I’m so devastated. This is one of my lowest moments supporting this club, and that includes when we were in Division2, because we are the best footballing team in Europe but we’re hamstrung by our gutless prick of a manager.
