I'm not saying go all Klopp on us, but why doesn't pep ever try to stick to something like a strongest starting 11 for most games?
I’m as critical as anyone about the team selection I thought as soon as I saw it like numerous times this season he picked the slow immobile option but and it’s been the same every time the players have been responsible for making poor mistakes and missing very good chances that regardless of the team selection and tactics would have change the result in many of the gamesThis team doesn’t lack a cutting edge ffs! That selection of players/tactics was just plain wrong tonight, and that’s why we lost
The formation would never have been ok unless we had decent wing backs, we had none.Pep over thought it again.
The formation would have been OK if the right players had played and we put the ball down the channels one in 3 times (but we never do).
Fern is finished and Bernardo should have played instead with him swapping places with Walker.
As to Gundogan - well Pep sees something that I don't.
Since the restart it has been "Dont start Foden and we lose."
Laporte was lazy all game. Refused to chase anything. Just puts his arm up everytime and expects the offside call.fucking gash all game but ffs stop moaning about offside for goal. go and read rule book. we might not like it but if he does not touch he ball he is not offside. yeah probably foul when legs got tangled up but no offside at all even if the rule maybe needs changing
Sounds a little bit like Kev did. Or if he didn’t he fucking is now.I wonder if anyone actually stands up to him and say's 'Pep are you mad?' I'm sure Arteta did, and I bet Kompany did on behalf of the players, but now?
