Come on city!

They did beat Juventus, so Pep and the boys won't be taking them lightly

- Formations
- Players in positions they are not suited to
- Mainly straying from the way we usually play because Pep overthinks.. then we concede loads of goal in the first 30mins before he reverts us back to our normal game. Liverpool, Tottenham and Monaco all the same
Im sure he doesn't do things for shits and giggles, so there will have been valid reasons for doing things that fans may not agree with, or understood . To label things as "experiments" though is imo, somewhat disingenuous to the best manager around.

If it's something he thinks might work but has no prior proof that it does, then it's literally the definition of an experiment.

We disagree, no probs.
I simply believe he has more insight than you, me or any other poster on this forum and doesn't do things without great attention to detail beforehand

It would be interesting to consider who Bayern would want to win this evening? I'm fairly convinced they'd rather play Lyon than ourselves and that means irrespective of last night's display, any semi final is a one off and the balance of probability is, if both sides are giving their all, then it will be more of a match than last evening, when Barcelona resembled a bunch of exhausted dwarves with a goalkeeper who so shocking playing out that it made Joe Hart's playing out look on a par to Ederson's.

It's silly to think that City have a winning formula which guatantees success at any level including the CL and the only reason why we lose is because Pep stupidly deviates from it (to prove he is a genius?).

Football is such a great game because the better team not always wins and because no formula guarantees success.

Last season we lost from Spurs because Sergio missed a pen in the first leg, Laporte made 2 mistakes in the second leg and Llorente scored with his hand. Not because Pep experimented.

Spot on

Knowing City we're more likely to win tonight, beat Bayern in a fantastic game Wednesday, then lose to say RBL in the final ( last minute Angelino winner).
Would he be allowed to play against us? Usually loan players don’t play against parent clubs
