Lyon travel plans

Does anyone know an approx price of a taxi from the Airport to Old Town, there's 5 of us so it'll probably work out cheaper than the train?

Could always Uber it i suppose?

A few places suggesting a cab is €60-75 depending on the time of day. Uber should be cheaper but sometimes they don't (aren't allowed to) pick up from airports.

Doesn't seem to be a local bus shuttle which I find quite odd.
 
It costs €7 euros to sit in a cab there, before you move a fuckin inch .. My slush fund will be decimated after this little City jaunt ... Mind you, City Euro away days are well worth the expense and drama getting there n back :-)

Exactly this, I’ll budget when I get home :-)
Edit not bought the better halve all her Xmas presents yet but as she’s on the forum,it’s a good way to dampen her expectations:-)
 
Arriving at Lyon airport at 10:20pm on Monday. We are staying in Lyon Centre, its a 32 minute taxi which is going to cost us £73 each!! Any ideas of a cheaper way?

Or perhaps anyone on the same flight and could split costs?
