Madeleine McCann

They couldn’t see, if they could they would’ve seen her being taken.
It’s not as if they would’ve been constantly looking towards the complex without taking their eyes off the apartment - they were eating, drinking and socialising with their group of friends. They weren’t doing a stakeout.
If you believe someone took her you have to admit just being able “to see” part of the apartment (one of the unlocked doors was on the opposite side of the apartment - they definitely could not see that door and that’s also admitted on the documentary) wasn’t good enough because someone went in (1 missed sighting) and came back out with Madeline (2 missed sightings). They didn’t even see 1 of 2 the sightings and missed 2 potential opportunities when they could’ve seen and done something.

They couldn’t see the road or the window to the room - which was climbed through to take the child.

I’m not disputing any of that. I’m disputing that they could see the apartment from where they were sat.

It could have been either one he was unhappy with. Either way, it seemed he was deeply unhappy with Madeline, shown by his cold, dispassionate reaction to her 'disappearance'. Rumour had it she was a handful and when the Calpol could no longer control her, they decided to fly her off to Portugal.

All through this thread you come up with different scenarios, then it's, I've been told, rumour as it, etc etc.

So point one, Where have you heard he was deeply unhappy with his daughter Madeline, Number two, Where have you got the info from that Madeline was a handful?

Surely the “snatched by the paedos operating in the area” theory is easier to accept?

Haha

They showed their view at night. It wasn’t glass, it was a plastic window as well, which doesn’t create the same level of reflection.
They were having the fucking meal at night!!!
And yes, it does have the same effect whether it's glass, perspex or plastic.
What is it with you that you're prepared to defy science in order to defend these people?

They missed 2 opportunities to see someone entering/leaving.
If you want folk to agree they could see some of the apartment I think most will.
You will never get folk to agree they could see all of the entry/egress points to/from the apartment and that they were sat constantly watching those points without taking their eyes off the apartment because they couldn’t and they didn’t.

Glass and plastic doesn’t have the same reflective ability at night, that isn’t defying science.

I don’t know either of them, the story doesn’t affect me, it’s just that I think the usual “lock ‘em up for neglect” arguments are ridiculous.

Seriously u want us to believe some intruder was pissing about going in and out of a window with a child rather then take the unlocked patio?

Do you think they would have been treated differently if it was jobless Gavin and Stacey off a council estate?

Only Kate’s fingerprints were found on the window. Not even any glove marks from someone wearing gloves to prevent their prints being detected. That’s from the copper who wrote the book against the McCanns and he tells us this in the documentary.
