Madeleine McCann

I just don't remember that at all, never left my children unattended on holiday or at home, these fuckers left 3 children and people pointing out that Chantelle from Salford would have had the book thrown at them if the same thing would have happened.

The least they could have done is paid for the sit in babysitter, I don't believe they had anything to do with her disappearance other than being feckless selfish parents.

I've always been convinced that the parents did have something (probably everything) to do with Maddie's disappearance.

Whatever way one's opinion lies in this case, one thing that is 100% certain is that the McCann's were, and probably still are, feckless, selfish parents.

Cadava dogs identified traces of blood in the apartment and their hire car. I don't think that was ever explained by the McCanns.

The McCann's have never satisfactorily explained anything that is suspicious / points towards their own involvement.

The German lad is obviously a wrong 'un, but I think he's no more than a convenient patsy. The truth may well come out one day, but someone along the line seems to be ensuring that the McCann's are kept firmly outside the scope the investigation

When I grew up it was absolutely the normal thing to put your baby out in a pram in the front garden.

15 years ago on these holiday resorts it was absolutely the normal thing to leave young kids in a room and go and have a meal and check in on them. At least 90% of holiday makers were doing similar things where I went.

Nope

That is absolute bollocks.

I definitely remember my mum leaving my younger siblings in their prams in the front garden, with a mesh cover over so cats couldn't get to the baby. Kids also got left in those big heavy prams outside shops too whilst parents went in to do the shopping.
It was very common..Different world now and I wouldn't have dreamt of doing that with my own kids.

Er no, I saw it it. What they did was very common behaviour.

If that's your experience, then fair enough, but I doubt very much that you're going to find many people who believe that has ever been 'common' behaviour.

In my experience, safety of children, whether on the beach, in play areas, or around the property, has always been paramount. We never let our children out of our sight, and never once even considered leaving them unattended at night.

Decent parents always put their children first.

Were you staying in some complex for bad parents or something? I've been on loads of holidays and never seen or heard of kids as young as the McCann's being left unattended.
It was an ordinary holiday loads of people left their kids in rooms when they went out close by.

Something just didn't feel right about this from the very beginning. Firstly why would very well paid professionals like the McCann's not pay for a babysitter for three very young children? It defies belief.
Secondly I remember the very first press conference they did standing outside. The father did all the talking. Very calm, very concise like he was reading a script. Very little emotion considering his daughter was missing. Then there was the mother's body language. She was standing next to him like a hostage, the expression on her face was like, "Nobody is going to believe this" almost like a guilty kid caught pilfering and listening to their mate trying to explain it wasn't them. My gut feeling watching this was something is very odd here.

Well it's hard to.prove or disprove obviously, but I wouldn't say this was common behaviour in any social gathering I've ever been on. Not three little kids as young as they were. Older kids maybe.

Seemed a targeted and intelligence led search and shame they didnt find her but relying on a different force is tough at the best of times esp when its a German obtained warrant acting for GB and needing Portugese cops to do the donkey work. Not a great recipe for total commitment
