Obviously it's horrific what happened but if they hadn't left her on her own to have dinner with their mates she wouldn't be gone and thats a fact. I'm not a parent but i don't know any that would leave a 3 year old on their own whilst they went to a restaurant.

Why don't they just move on. I know it must be the hardest thing in the world for them and I know why they want to keep looking, but she is gone and I am truly sorry for that, but they need to grieve. If they keep looking they cant do that properly and some times it is just best to accept someone is gone and try to move on with your life.

Personally I hope, and its a weird thing to think and say, but I hope she IS dead. I dread to think of the things that girl would have gone through if she still is alive. I do hope the parents get some closure, but I just dont see it.

I dont think as a parent you could ever give up. I know I couldnt if it was my son. That would be a complete impossibility.

I have a 12 year old daughter and a 5 month old son,and in the 12 years I have never let my daughter out of my sight whilst in public ( never mind when on holiday ). Todays day and age is very hard to be a parent due to some people who are out their. Really doubt they will ever see her again (ala Ben Needham )

Look, we all know the Mcanns shouldn't have left their children alone, nipping back to check every half hour or so was so irresponsible, whether it was some jeremy kyle regular, or intelligent members of the medical proffesion, it was wrong. But lets not lose track of the poor girl, i hope and pray that she will be found alive, i doubt she will, if it wasn't maddie from her room it would have been another child snatched from elsewhere. I'm not going to talk about predatory peado's as i could honestly say i could "do one in". The Mcanns have suffered enough, you dont have to blame them, they will do that themselves every waking day for the rest of their lives.

Right agree with what you say but playing devils advocate, Madeline is found dead, are the McCanns not guilty of gross negligence contributing to a childs death??

i hope that someone finds the poor girl. its right that they should not have left her but i dont think any parent deserves this as punishment. if maddie is found it will be a good day. i remember being happy when they found shannon matthews but in reality it was just a scam. obviously the maddie case is a very strange story. didnt they find her dna in the boot of a hire car?
