You know, we get it, you didn't like Mrs Thatcher, you need to have these threads every now and then just to wank off to

It's a bit boring though blaming her for every single evil that has befallen the human race since time began

I bet you think one of her ancestors nailed Jesus to the cross

To be honest Ronnie i never get bored of slagging off the fucking horrible woman. Its one of my small pleasures in life :)

And as i dont believe Jesus was nailed to a cross i sadly cant blame her for that but i can blame her for us getting relegated against Luton in 82 because historically City have always done worse under a Tory Govt.

Errr, we've only won the prem twice. Both under a Conservative Government

Coalition Government pal :))

Now you're just being silly.

But I can imagine one of her ancestors staring at Jesus on the cross and then telling him to stop hanging about and to do a real day's work, the fucking scrounger.

The people of mid Scotland, of South yorkshire, the people of County Durham, the valleys of South wales, the victims of institutionalised child abuse, the families of the 96, the teenage conscripts blown up on a hospital ship sailing away from a battle zone, victims of chemical weapons she sold to the Middle East etc etc. she may not have been the devil incarnate, she may have done some good but she destroyed enough people to never be considered a great national leader. A great leader for southerners maybe, a great leader for nationalists maybe, a great leader for the wealthy maybe, a great leader for abusers maybe. But she was not a great leaders for Brotain !

I don't need another reason to hate Thatcher, but I've never heard of this one. Care to enlighten?

He's referring to the ARA Belgrano, which was not a hospital ship. It was a belligerent vessel at a time of war and a legitimate target. The fact it was sailing away is irrelevant. The Captain even accepts it was a legitimate act and that he was under orders to attack any British vessel that he encountered.

There are many things to hate about and to blame Thatcher for, but the sinking of the Belgrano isn't one of them.
It was a legitimate target and a very real threat to the British task force. Anyone who can't see that is either an idiot or blinded by their hate of and admittedly loathsome women.

gives them purpose when there in fact nobodies.

If Margaret Thatcher isn't to be held responsible for the disasterous economic and social policies implented under her premiership, then who is?

Unfortunately for the Tory Boys the future has caught up with Thatcherism - it's consequences have been detailed and disected many times. Hayek and Freedman have been exposed as snake oil salesmen, and their brands of voodoo economics have been proved to be wrong, although the damage done is real enough.

The advancement in computing power has transformed Economics led to the ability to study big data and given economics a scientific & statistical base. An analytical base that has proved time and again that Thatcherism was a rabid dog barking up the wrong tree. From the increased cost of executive services for and lower returns to shareholders to the tax avoidance mentality of corporations, her policies have reaped a bitter harvest for UK tax payers, employers and workers alike.

Other countries faced the same problems as the UK with union influecnce but chose more intelligent methods of solving the issues: conscilliation raher than open agression; development of industries rather than destruction. Countries such as Australia, Germany, Holland, the Scaninavian countries all have stronger economies than the UK as a result with a muixture of manufacturing, service and financial industries giving them a significantly more stable base.

Greatest Prime Minister ever, give me a break - nothing more than an historical cautionary tale whose legacy is seen in the large scale low-wage immigration and the disastrous housing market in the UK.

Unions were crippling this country by the time Thatcher came to power I remember it well.
Thatcher came about because of the unions not in spite of them.
Now I'm no Thatcherite and neither am I a Blairite but there are a LOT of people who would hate a tory even if they did good for the country.

Name a Tory that has been good for the country?

Right wing politics favours the individual not the whole populace. Only collectivism can benefit the country.
