I hate to admit it but Chelsea are well down in the pecking order for top players these days. I guess we have to wait until City are done and see what's left.

I hope your right , but he was at fault for so many goals last term, I think he'll be replaced

Almost every player Hughes has signed can play more than one role, that gives Hughes a level of flexibility. As I understand it Maicon only plays right back and on top of that he seems a "flair defender" Hughes seems more into solid defenders that defend and perhaps a little else.

Hope it's true, but football clubs are lying their pissing heads off and sloppy journalism means they get away with it.
 
I just can't see this one, to be honest.

Whatever his agent is coming out with at the moment, I just can't see the player leaving Inter - especially not for us!

I also can't see Hughes going for this type of player - doesn't seem like his type of defender at all.

Would love to be proved wrong though!

also, im quite impressed how maicons agent knows us as the citizens!! something tells me that, is sloppy journalism
