Yep. Some of those possibilities might be less plausible than others but that’s not really the issue. When you look at all the inconsistencies in the case, there’s any number of possibilities that could’ve led to her being killed. Given the area where it happened and it’s rural location compared to a city where there are so many prying eyes, not to mention ample CCTV coverage, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to say those possibilities are multiplied somewhat in this instance.

It really doesn’t need that many people to be involved mate, and they don’t all have to be related parties either.
Think about it - they could pull Ryan Hillegas in and say “Look, we know Avery did it but we just need a bit more to build the case around him, so if you could do this one thing for us it makes it easier for everyone, including you with you being her ex-boyfriend and a possible person of interest”.
That’s all it needs - a bit of persuasiveness and a thinly veiled threat at the end. If they can coerce a confession out of Brendan Dassey, they could easily get Hillegas on board.

If this did happen then surely someone in the family must be in on it. You couldn’t guess that that he had a cut or whatever. I think the Dassey thing is utterly baffling , and a clear miscarriage of justice.I keep changing my mind regarding Avery and on that basis alone I think nothing is proven beyond reasonable doubt. As an aside you know you can buy their Avery auto salvage sweatshirts and caps etc via their face book page?

Where was I referring to the blood? I was taking about the possibility of Hillegas being involved in planting the car. The blood theory is admittedly a stretch but not as much as the prosecution theory that Teresa’s throat was slit in Avery’s gaff, even though they couldn’t find any trace of her blood in there. That’s some clean-up job whichever way you look at it.

Yeah agreed on that. Inconceivable that he cleaned up all the DNA other than his own.
The blood from the sink is key though. As is it undisputed that Averys blood is in the RAV4. So how did it get there? That’s what I’m struggling. Now that the vial of blood from season 1 is no longer under question they are hanging on it being garnered from the sink. And I can’t believe that aspect.

Yeah seen that. Got handed a cheque for $1500 dollars after 4 days of it being on sale.
