Making a Murderer Part 2

No disrespect but you’re labouring under the impression that everything presented in the documentary is the truth. I thought the same after I saw the first documentary (hence why I wrote what I wrote on page 1) but if you look at what the jury has seen and the information that is available in the public domain, you’ll see that the documentarians (and Zellner) consistently lie and misrepresent facts so saying ‘x is illogical/impossible when y is true’ doesn’t hold up when y isn’t true.

What’s your take on the coroner mate?

Her cell phone records suggest she was at home when she wrote down her plans.

My argument isn’t flawed: I’m just stating the fact that he was arrested, charged and convicted without Dassey - something you denied earlier.

The reason they questioned Dassey was following up on a lead. Kayla Dassey said that Brendon told her he saw toes in Avery’s fire (which is very possibly the truth) because we know that Brendon went round to Avery’s to help him clean - although probably after Halbach was already dead. The police were just trying to get as much information as possible from Dassey. They didn’t need it because it wasn’t used against Avery.

Your argument IS flawed. And I didn't deny anything, I asked a question.

Let me revisit this, yet again.

If Dassey 'saw toes in the fire', why wasn't that enough to cement the arrest and conviction of Avery?

Why would they need to place Dassey witnessing the whole thing...??

You keep avoiding the legitimate question.

Where is the original Dassey interview?

Has anyone sat through the 'part two' video?

Brendan Dassey is clearly conflating stories and making stuff up just to 'please' these police officers.

Brendan says he received a call from Avery to help him 'clean up the garage'. He states that the car was outside the garage, then inside the garage and the the big garage door was open when he went over and didn't use a small entry door.

He then decided he was riding his bike and could hear her scream from a distance away 'Help me!'. At some point he brought mail over to Avery, knocked on the door and waited 5 mins before Avery opened the door, all whilst the screaming was ongoing...

From 46mins 30s he states Avery 'shot her 10 times' then threw her in 'fire'. In the head '3 times on the left side' of her head 'I think' and shot her in the body. '10 times' using a rifle...?

Before that he mentions her throat being 'slit', added to the single stab wound to her belly, that left a small pool of blood to her tee shirt. This was AFTER he first saw TH's body covered with a white sheet in the back of the jeep and then not covered, dressed and then 'sorta' dressed with a ripped open black shirt and a white tee shirt underneath.

In the garage.

With the open door.

Let's just add this to Fame Monster's pit fire theory where the body was burned or was it the 'burn barrel' that the officers are concerned about in the 'part two' video?

With all this, we have to understand that no one else heard TH scream, Avery left the garage door open right until Brendan Dassey arrived (a full 10 min wait according to his first 'recollection') and entered the trailer via the door after a 5 min wait? Invited to 'rape' TH after SA told him he had just done it all whilst she was still screaming in the background(how long is this going on for now and nobody hears anything?).

So, nobody hears 10 gunshots, nobody hears screaming, no sees TH's car in an open garage door for a length of time.

It's all absolute and complete horse sh*t.

@cptaidan88 gave a good reply to this. I don’t know if this is the real reason she was excluded but it’s the obvious reason and I’m sure if she was part of the investigation, Avery’s lawyers would have jumped on this.

We’re going round in circles here. The police didn’t need any information from Dassey to convict Avery. They convicted him without any evidence from Dassey.

I understand why you're not answering the question; cos of the way it's phrased.

What was the point of the Dassey interview and why turn it from statements to accessory to murder under coercion??

No reason not to understand the question now.

The police were following up on Kayla Dassey’s statement. They knew Brendon was with Avery that evening and had reason to believe he was involved in the murder from what Kayla told them so they wanted to force as much information out of him as possible. Police officers tend not to say ‘we know you’ve got no involvement in the murder but tell us what happened’, they tend to say ‘we know you were involved so why don’t you just tell us’. It’s just standard police interrogation tactics that unfortunately elicited a lot of falsehoods from Brendon. They didn’t interview Brendon the way they did because they thought the case against Avery was invented by Manitowoc County.

And you're convinced by the interview, that it's all above board??
