Making a Murderer

With a $35 million lawsuit and an insurance company telling the state it can fuck off it aint paying......I wonder what could happen.

Some of you, like me, will have googled the caseand found Kranz saying how the show was bias and how it missed a lot of stuff that showed him guilty.
All he had was the dna on the bonnet latch, the rest is him just rehashing stuff we do know.

Yeah that call about her plates sealed it for me, ffs what has to happen for cops to get investigated in the USA.

The more i look at it the worse it looks for the LEO's involved on every piece of evidence.
To pin him for this i have to do some major mental gymnastics and almost ignore half the info we have as fact.

"There were some pieces of evidence that the series moved past so quickly that viewers didn't always get a sense of their significance. For instance, did a theory ever emerge about why part of Teresa's pelvic bone was found in the quarry?"

- Jerry Buting

Oh, fuck all that. I Googled the fucker and the inbred imbeciles on the jury convicted him. Small town America I guess! Great documentary though.
I haven't read any further, but did you really just spoil the ending on the front page for everyone coming into this thread? I would go back and edit your sentence with the spoiler tag just for safe measure. The show is just a great experience. No worries, just an idea.

I watched all 10 episodes over three nights and without giving anything away, I thought it the most compelling TV I had seen in years. It raised so many questions about the US legal system and press. Truly groundbreaking stuff.

should probably change the thread title, e.g. "Making a Murderer - Spoilers Galore"

I think it's a bit weird using the term spoiler when we are taking about real people's lives/deaths. It is not a film. That said I was glad no one spoiled it on me! :-)

I finished it the other night. I actually lol'd when Kratz had the audacity to say the reason no dna etc was found on Avery's bed was because the murder occured in the garage, this came in the summing up from the bastard who publically gave the horrific account of how Avery killed her on his bed months before, fucking sickening that a jury can be influenced that way before a trial.[\SPOILER]

If we made a list of these huge points of contention we would be here all day, it makes me shake my head every time i open the thread.

Just think he and his mentally borderline retarded cousin are spending this Friday behind bars, no pint or smoke if they choose, nothing.
One night of that would send me bat shit crazy, my freedom such as it is i hold as dear as the breath i take.
Honest it would fucking destroy me i don't mind saying it either. A thousand times more so if i was innocent !

Good thinking batman... you quoted it though mate ;)

I know what you mean, I've always been brought up to be honest and do try to be. If I was accused of something I knew i hadn't done i'm not quite sure mentally I could take it to be perfectly honest! Especially sat in prison knowing I was there foe the rest of my days.

I am not even taking into account he already did 18 years...18...years !
I know people say your mind goes into survival mode but fuck that i want a fucking beer.
In fact i am cracking a peroni this instant just because i can and i am thirsty.

I want to research more now but am tipsy, the dog is booting me and the missus is messaging me saying i don't talk enough when i am away from her.
That and i want to watch funny dog videos on youtube xD

Anyone got a link for this, not on Showbox, XMBC/Kodi only played first 2 episodes and rest say no stream available. I have also searched other documentary websites I use but can't find it

Thanks in advance

"I could've got it from a book".
That put the tin hat on it for me, with bells and whistles on too.
Excellent documentary series, and really well put together. You forget for a few episodes about Brendan the inbred remedial accomplice. But when it is his trial, it all comes clear.
Guilty pair of strange murderous people.

West of Memphis is an interesting 2-3 hour watch on Netflix for those who have finished 'Making a Murderer'. Not quite as compelling but it's about overturning an incorrect murder conviction.

The original Paradise lost documentaries by HBO are a masterpiece, then Peter Jackson et al jumped on the bandwagon and made that shite that frequents Netflix...
