Malcolm Allison RIP - Confirmed

Great football man and larger than life character. He also loved to wind up the rags before a derby match.

Just flicked on SSN 5 minutes ago and saw it passing along the bottom of the screen on the yellow ticker, sad, sad news.

A real character who'll be sorely missed.

R.I.P Malcolm.

me dad took me to my first away match i was 11 - liverpool v city 1972 fa cup 3rd round. we were in the kop as there was about 15000 city fans in the anfield road end and another 5000 outside trying to get in.

just before kick off Malcolm Allison walks right up to the kop with his ankle length double breasted cream coloured camel haired coat , panama hat and xl cuban cigar and starts shouting 2-0.

what a pleasure that sight has given me over the years especially as we done them after a reply

a true city city legend - Malcolm Allison

The word legend is used to often these days, Malcolm was a true legend in every sense of the word. Thoughts go to his family and friends.
RIP

R.I.P Malcolm
just look at his face when he was filmed for the End of an era video, real sadness in his eyes, when asked how will he feel when he passes Maine Rd when the stadium is knocked down he said "I wont go this way!"

Loved the club as much as we do....sadly missed.

RIP - as one era ends another begins - shame he won't see the 1st trophy go up of the new era. He was a great City man and should be given a big send off.
