Whether John Gudetti gets a run out on Wednesday will depend if he is named in the 23 man squad at the end of August which was submitted to UEFA. If his name is in that squad I do hope he will get a chance at some point during the game. Last Sunday would have been an ideal time to give john a run out with us leading 5-0 after 55mins, however it was not to be.

Hes not on the a list but being 21 do we not have till 2300 tonight to register him for the b list?

What's the status of Lopes, Rusnak, Hiwula etc?

Considering that this match is a pointless event for our opponents I can't imagine them fielding a strong side either. It would be nice to see one or two players make senior team debuts. I do believe that we have the strength to win tomorrow, and handily.

Given Nasri was at the press conference I would guess he will be playing,may even be Captain....

Nah, it's happened a few times already this year where the player at the press conference didn't start. Wouldn't be surprised to see Nasri rested, especially with Silva still out for the weekend most likely. Wish he would play, though, as he is leading CL in assists!

I am assuming he will. There are pictures of him training with the first team yesterday. Apparently Nasty came out for training but din't complete warmup.

Pellegrini should rest all the players who started against Spurs.

This, with maybe a couple of exceptions. If we play ANY of our front line players, Pellers should be sacked!! Just kidding about the sacking but you get my drift. I dont care if have have to play 11 academy players. This is a totally meaningless, nothing game. Rset up for Swansea....

Each club has a separate list from the squad of 25 where they can register any player for this season born after 1st Jan 1992 who's been at the club for at least 2 seasons. They can amend this list on a per game basis but the list has to be submitted at midnight the day before the game.
