For different reasons, McMinimum, would also have to have Fowler in there, absolue imposter of a player, Danny Mills too although Keegan must take some of the blame for the 5 year contract he was given. I'd also go against the grain and put Anelka in there, huffy bastard, chucked at 3-0 away to Spurs in the F.A Cup replay 2004, and left for half of what we paid for him.

A lot of the guys i've been pissed off about for being a judas are mainly all financial related reasons, however for what 'might have been' reasons i'd have to go for Howard Kendall. He was in the middle of making something special at Maine Road and although Peter Reid did a decent job of 3 top 5 finishes (although no European reward due to a ban on English clubs) you had that feeling Kendall could have taken the club to that next stage of being a top side and winning silverware.

I was happy for SWP when he joined Chelsea. I am really happy for Ade, Onuoha, Caicedo. I hope Bellamy continues his good recent form. Just like if Tevez leaves; I'll probably like him more than I do now, because I won't be upset by the constant rumours that he's not happy.

Tony Coton got offered a good job at the end of his career. Good for him.

99% of them I don't harbour any resentment towards, because it's nearly always in everyone's interest when someone leaves, and we rarely know the particular reasons why this or that was said, who got paid how much, how much the club was happy to shift them.

They all have the right to pursue their careers. If they aren't committed, like Robinho, or Ade, then you have to remember that sometimes people and situations just dont fit. It goes both ways; we have to move on people who aren't right for us, and if we're not right for someone, so be it.

It doesn't mean I don't get angry when the likes of Ireland run their mouths off as soon as they're out of the door, believe me, I do, but mostly because it ruins any chance of us remembering them in a positive light.

Having said all that. I'll make an exception for Mills. I was never happy with any of that group of ex-England players, but (apologies for the pun), this guy added insult to injury.

Kendall is a good shout but anyone managing under Swales had a perfectly valid reason to take care of themselves first and foremost.

But for me the worst is Stephen Ireland, People say Barton on here, but in his first interview after leaving City he said 'In a perfect world Newcastle would win the league and City come second' whereas Ireland said 'Sometimes when I played I didn't care if we won or loss' - even writing that winds me up.

Good post, CM. As Player of the Year, he could have expected to be given some respect, but he got none at all. Personally, I'd have built a team around him.
Some memories are very short it seems to me.

Personally, for me in recent times it's Ireland, talked the talk to the fans but when it came down to it was highly inconsistent and in his own mind was the main man at the club! Soon as he leaves everything he says is anti-city! Scum!
