I can't see the rags rock bottom being any lower than they are at the moment, I don't think I'm that lucky, so I wouldn't be surprised to see them progress, combined with all the Mata transfer talk and how they're 'back on top!!!!!'. Then Rooney and RVP back for the final, perhaps with Mata in tow, and nothing like the walkover smashing a lot of you seem to be predicting. Would probably be just about our luck ;)

Make no mistake, we would much rather face Sunderland in the final. They are not a better team than even this rag side.
Well Mata would be ineligible anyway. I asked about this on another thread and the answer was that as he'd played already, he wouldn't be able to play for United in the competition.
He's just Silva's understudy anyway, so fuck him and his wiry hair.

They are a better team ATM without the ball than the rags and we have struggled more against teams who are good without the ball than we have against teams who are good with it

Whoever gets through we are more likely than not to beat, but the result is not a foregone conclusion whoever we play at Wembley

I don't think away goals count. Sure that's what was mentioned last week on here anyway, if that's anything to go by.
Whilst I want United to go through so that we can embarrass them at Wembley, I think Sunderland are playing well enough to go through tonight.

I wish there was a guarantee with this, but in football there isn't. City fans had money on a 1-0 Wigan win last May and it's clear anything can happen over 90 mins. A scuffy goal off FatScouseGit's shin, we hit the bar and post ten times and then Howie RedShirt comes up with a penalty when the BelgianAlbanianWannabeEnglander does a triple salchow and the RagMeedya go into overdrive about how much money we've pissed into the desert sand, and we never hear the end of the Moyesiah takin' a trophy to The Moyesaleum before Pellers get his!

This isn't the same mate. Put that Wigan final this coming Saturday and there would only be one outcome. There may well be a scuff off Rooney's boot and the ball bobbles over the line, but that will be after we've already scored 3 sublime goals of our own. Like many-a-commentator/pundit is saying right now, we are unstoppable going forward and the momentum us just gaining more and more as the games go on.

The only jinx is that it will only be 3-1, whereas if i'd STFU it could have been 5 or 6 ;-)
