Manc or not (Merged)

Re: Manc or not

Not

Born and raised in West Cornwall. Became a City fan about 1979. My surname is Barnes and I told everyone at School that Peter Barnes was my uncle. Seen the best and worst of it. Have not been to many games but was yards from Kinky when scored THAT goal against Southampton and very close to Nicky Weaver's celebrations at Wembley so consider myself one lucky git.

Manc
Never going to be anything else.
Family's all season ticket holders and I never had a choice.
I'm sure my Mum would have stopped feeding me if I said I wanted to be red.

I'm Manc but doesn't bother me where your from, city fans are a breed apart imo, something about bucking the trend, supporting your team through thin and thin that unites us all. Know many city fans from all walks of life and this is what stands us apart.
