Would love to know how people are affording to live in all these flats that are being built, I've been looking at the rental market and your not getting anything more than a matchbox full of fleas for a grand a month, a lot of the semi decent ones are upwards of £2500 a month!! £30k a year just on rent????

A lot of people earn a hell of a lot of money. I met a girl once who spent £800 a week on flowers for her house. Fresh batches every Friday whether they needed replenishing or not.

I don’t have £800 a month to myself.

London and Berlin maybe, but in terms of development compared to population size I bet Manchester is right up there.
