Great Progress made with the ongoing remediation package at the “Old” Rochdale road Gas Works on behalf McGoff Group

It’s not everyday you get to uncover the relic remains of one of Manchester largest and oldest gas works. Over the next week we will continue to remove the underground structures and process onsite to provide materials to install the pile platform aswell as complete a 260m3 foam concrete arch infill.

The Southern Gateway into the city centre along Princess Parkway will look immense in a few years time.

The tower in the CGI is the previous design. Stand corrected on that.
