A pivotal element of the wider £2.5bn, 252-acre Crescent Salford masterplan, the scheme comprises 933 new homes, 1.7m sq ft of new commercial innovation, academic and research floorspace, active ground-floor space, and a new movement hub, along with significant improvements to public spaces.

Manchester City Council’s executive committee will be asked to approve the next step toward delivering the development framework being drawn up for the East Manchester neighbourhood.

The local authority is developing a 10-year plan for the regeneration of 74 acres of post-industrial land, a project that has long been on the city’s list of urban renewal projects without ever gaining enough traction.

Holt Town has the potential for 4,500 homes including significant levels of affordable housing, commercial space which could attract 1,500 jobs, and the creation of 91 acres of public realm and green space.

Proposals for the developer’s third PBSA scheme within the Manchester neighbourhood are being worked up on one of the few remaining vacant plots.

Vita Group has launched a consultation on plans for a 750-bed PBSA scheme at First Street, located on plot 9b on the corner of Medlock Street and Hulme Street.

Full details of our proposal will be available to read online via a PDF from Tuesday 23rd July 2024 and a public consultation event will take place on Tuesday 23rd July 2024 as detailed below.

Scottish developer and investor Drum Property Group is the frontrunner to acquire the 366-flat Gallery Gardens, one of several failed DeTrafford projects.

Located off Ellesmere Street in Manchester’s Castlefield district, the £94m project entered administration in early 2023 without a brick being laid.

However, there is fresh hope that the development might get out of the ground in the shape of Drum Property.
