Altrincham-based developer 21 Living has submitted plans to redevelop a disused furniture shop in the town centre into a six-storey apartment scheme.

A site off Cross Keys Street would be redeveloped into 99 homes under CERT’s plans for a second residential scheme within the New Cross neighbourhood.

Working in partnership with Myprotein founder Oliver Cookson, CERT wants to deliver a nine-storey building with a gross development value of £28m.

The fit-out of the Irwell Building is advancing rapidly, with drylining, MEP installations, joinery, flooring, and kitchen installations completed up to Level 34.

Staircase fit-out is nearing completion in both towers, with handrails being finalised. The Greengate Building has seen significant progress, with fit-out works from Levels 3 to 14 and final snagging on the lower levels.
