Look at the state of that bottom picture. Looks ridiculous. I hope the reality ends up being better looking than that.

I’m so excited to finally share with you a project that has been 15 years in the making with the launch of our £400m St Michael's Manchester development.

It’s an extraordinary scheme that we believe will be the first fully Net Zero Carbon commercial development in Manchester, something we’re very proud of.

Phase one of the scheme will have 9 floors of office space, Chotto Matte on the rooftop restaurant and 2 F+B outlets.

Later this summer we’ll begin Phase two with construction of a 41-storey tower which will host a 162-bed 5 Star international hotel brand and 217 luxury residences.

There are so many people involved in this journey over the last 15 years and I’d like to thank everybody who has been involved in making this project come to life.

CR Construction (U.K.) Company Ltd. celebrated a significant milestone in June 2023 with the topping out of our first block on the Victoria Riverside project.

To commemorate the occasion we hosted a topping out ceremony on the roof of Block B with key members of our supply chain and consultants in attendance.

Block B stands at 17 stories and is the smallest of the three towers we are delivering on the project. The others being 25 stories and 36 stories respectively.

Shane Kelly, Project Director presented 2no. Yew Trees to the project team to celebrate the topping out of the block. One of these trees will be planted on site, whilst the other will be gifted by CRUK to a local charity and planted by our team.

In addition to this we also presented commemorative trowels to the team who also took the opportunity to sign the parapet as attendees at the event.

Representation from CR Construction (U.K.) Ltd. outside of the Manchester team came from Calum Kidd (Southern MD), Kai Shen (UK Chairman), Ricky Li (Director) and Joanna Siu (Director).
Other notable attendees included FEC, Hawkins Brown, ROC, Meinhardt, AC1, Madigan Gill, Taurus and KPS.

Amazing work by Far East Consortium UK on Victoria Riverside so far in the build, really exciting to watch the plans come to life.

One of the cities most exciting developments that will be a landmark for the city as it leads the Victoria North regeneration forward.
